OUR PROCESS
STEP 1
Consultation with homeowner to select custom colours and design curbing lines, outline irrigation or other special requirements.
STEP 2
Prep the curbing trench by using a mini sod cutter or edging machine then mixing the concrete on-site with a specialized trailer towed by truck.
STEP 3
Base colour of concrete is added along with reinforced, fibre mesh and admixtures for the strongest possible concrete.
STEP 4
Concrete is wheel barrowed from trailer to small, curbing machine that leaves virtually no footprint over lawn.
STEP 5
Concrete is shoveled into machine; pouring out a continuous curb onto trenched design.6) Curb is troweled and perfected.
STEP 6
Coloured release powders are added to complement the home’s colour scheme and allow the ‘Stone’ impression tools to release from the curb.
STEP 7
A variety of carving tools are used to hand-craft the concrete to create the look of a beautiful stone border.
STEP 8
The site is fully cleaned up before leaving for the day.
STEP 9
Return trip from crew member a few days later to blow off the excess release powders and spray on a U.V. stable, concrete sealer to really highlight the colours of your new, stone border.
